Massive fire devastates warehouse in Aïn Harrouda

A massive fire broke out on Tuesday in a scrap warehouse near the premises of the company Lesieur Cristal in Aïn Harrouda, located on the outskirts of Casablanca.

According to initial reports, the blaze required a significant deployment of Civil Protection units to contain the flames and prevent the fire from spreading to nearby storage facilities. The cause of the incident has not yet been determined.

The fire consumed a large number of wooden pallets and various materials made of wood and plastic, including tire frames, which fueled the rapid spread of the flames.

An eyewitness told local media that this is the second time such an incident has occurred at the same warehouse. The witness also stated that the fire broke out suddenly, causing extensive material damage.

Police have launched an investigation to determine the exact circumstances surrounding this serious incident.
