Stellantis strengthens dominance in Morocco utility vehicle market
Stellantis Maroc has reinforced its leadership in Morocco’s light commercial vehicle market, driven by strong performances from its Stellantis Pro One division and sustained demand for FIAT Professional models among business customers.
The automotive group said it has maintained the top position in Morocco’s light utility vehicle sector since July 2025. Stellantis closed 2025 with a market share of 23.6% before continuing its growth trajectory in 2026, reaching a cumulative 22.6% market share by the end of March. The company recorded a peak of 23.8% in March 2026, consolidating its position in one of Morocco’s most competitive automotive segments.
The group’s performance was supported by gains across multiple categories of commercial vehicles. In the C Van segment, Stellantis Pro One secured a 44.2% market share in 2025, largely driven by demand for the Fiat Doblo Cargo. In the D glazed van category, the company achieved 32.3% market share in 2025 before climbing to 44% in March 2026 with the support of the Scudo Combi model.
Stellantis also posted strong results in the E Van segment, where it reached 59.2% market share in December 2025 and maintained 52.3% cumulatively through March 2026. Models including the Ducato, Boxer and Movano contributed significantly to these figures. In the D Pickup category, the company reached 17.4% market share in March 2026 as the Fiat Titano continued gaining traction among professional users.
FIAT Professional has emerged as a central driver behind Stellantis Maroc’s commercial performance. The brand offers a range of vehicles targeting different professional needs, from small business operators and craftsmen to large corporate fleets. Its portfolio includes the Doblo Cargo, Scudo, Ducato and Titano, allowing the company to expand across several commercial transport segments.
The company also used the SIAM 2026 agricultural exhibition to strengthen its visibility within Morocco’s farming sector. FIAT presented several utility models adapted for agricultural use, including the Doblo Maxi Cargo, the Titano pickup and the TRIS electric micromobility vehicle.
Sales activity during the exhibition showed strong interest from agricultural professionals, particularly for the Fiat Titano. The TRIS model also attracted attention among farmers seeking low cost and short distance transport solutions adapted to rural and local operational needs.
Morocco’s commercial vehicle market has become increasingly strategic as logistics, delivery services, agriculture and small business activity continue expanding. Automotive groups are intensifying competition through specialized models, electrification projects and utility vehicles designed for regional business requirements.
