Serial burglaries in eastern Morocco: suspect arrested in Berkane
Authorities in eastern Morocco have apprehended a 32-year-old man suspected of involvement in a series of burglaries targeting money transfer agencies. The arrest took place in Berkane, where police identified him as a prime suspect in a break-in incident.
Security sources reported that the suspect, who has a prior criminal record, allegedly committed a robbery at a money transfer office in Berkane. Investigations suggest he may also be linked to two similar thefts in Zaïo and Oujda.
