In a groundbreaking move, the Saudi Arabian authorities have unveiled an ambitious plan to integrate 32 innovative technologies into the upcoming 1445 Hajj campaign. This bold initiative aims to elevate the pilgrimage experience, offering a seamless and unparalleled journey for the millions of faithful Muslims converging upon the holy sites.

During a press conference held at the Mina site, Saleh bin Nasser Al-Jasser, the Saudi Minister of Transport and Logistic Services, unveiled a captivating array of technological marvels. Among the highlights, a pioneering technique involving a blend of asphalt and rubber will be employed for the first time to construct the main pedestrian zone, ensuring unmatched comfort for the pilgrims traversing these sacred paths.

In a bid to combat the region's sweltering temperatures, the authorities have expanded the deployment of an innovative white coating, capable of reducing surface temperatures by a remarkable 15 degrees Celsius. This cutting-edge solution will be implemented in critical areas, including the vicinity of the esteemed Namira Mosque in Arafat, providing much-needed respite from the scorching heat.

Embracing the power of aerial surveillance, drones equipped with thermal scanning capabilities will be employed to meticulously inspect and assess the intricate road network, ensuring the utmost safety and efficiency for the pilgrims' journeys.

Minister Al-Jasser emphasized the unwavering commitment of the Kingdom's transportation and logistics system, backed by state-of-the-art facilities, robust frameworks, and meticulously crafted operational plans. This comprehensive approach guarantees a secure and seamless movement of pilgrims through the intricate web of air, land, sea, and rail routes, from their arrival in the Kingdom to their visits to the two Holy Mosques and the completion of their sacred rituals.

The arrival phase, a crucial logistical endeavor, is progressing smoothly, thanks to the mobilization of 47 specialized executives armed with cutting-edge tools and resources. Six strategically located airports across the Kingdom have been meticulously prepared to receive pilgrims' flights, with a staggering 7,700 flights offering 3.4 million seats aboard and the deployment of a dedicated workforce of 21,000 executives.

Complementing the seamless transportation network, the Haramain High-Speed Railway stands as a testament to Saudi Arabia's commitment to innovation. With a fleet of 35 trains offering 1.6 million seats, this state-of-the-art rail system provides pilgrims with a swift and comfortable journey. Moreover, a staggering 27,000 buses have been mobilized to cater to the diverse transportation needs of the pilgrims, ensuring a truly comprehensive and integrated travel experience.

As the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia ushers in the 1445 Hajj season, it stands as a beacon of technological prowess, seamlessly blending tradition with cutting-edge innovation. This unwavering commitment to excellence promises to elevate the pilgrimage experience to unprecedented heights, leaving an indelible mark on the hearts and minds of the faithful.
