Mohammed VI Polytechnic University (UM6P) recently hosted Morocco's Minister of National Education, Preschool, and Sports, Chakib Benmoussa, for a comprehensive visit focused on evaluating an innovative training program aimed at empowering key actors within the public education system.

Benmoussa's presence at UM6P, alongside the university's President Hicham El Habti, signifies a deepening partnership between the Ministry and UM6P to implement the Kingdom's ambitious education reforms outlined in the 2022-2026 roadmap.

The training program serves as a core element of this collaboration, providing coordinators with tools to support administrative and teaching staff in fulfilling their duties, addressing challenges, and fostering collaboration within school districts.

Developed by UM6P's Africa Business School in conjunction with Ministry officials, the program emphasizes revitalizing the roles of students, teachers, and schools. Oversight mechanisms at the provincial, regional, and central levels will guide implementation and monitoring.

Benmoussa commended the initiative, stating, "This program exemplifies our commitment to mobilizing stakeholders through strategic partnerships as we strive to empower the next generation."

El Habti echoed this sentiment, adding, "UM6P is honored to utilize our expertise to strengthen the education sector. We are confident this will lead to impactful, positive change."

With Benmoussa's visit reaffirming ties between the Ministry and UM6P, Morocco's journey toward an improved, inclusive educational system enters an exciting new phase. The successful realization of this collaborative vision will be crucial for unlocking human potential and spearheading national development.
