Morocco's King Mohammed VI: A Pillar of Support for Palestine Amid Ongoing Crisis
In a show of unwavering solidarity, Morocco, under the guidance of King Mohammed VI, continues to champion the Palestinian cause. His Majesty’s consistent condemnation of violence against Gazan civilians has marked Morocco as a steadfast ally.
Recently, Palestinian Prime Minister Mohammad Mustafa expressed profound gratitude to Morocco and the King during a meeting in Ramallah. Mustafa praised the monarch's enduring commitment to supporting Palestine.
The meeting, featuring Ismail Ramli, coordinator of the Bayt Mal Al-Quds Acharif Agency, and Ashraf Al Awar, Minister of Al-Quds Affairs, highlighted the severe challenges facing Palestine. Mustafa called for increased Arab and international efforts to aid the Palestinian people, as reported by MAP.
Ramli briefed Mustafa on the agency's progress, achieved under King Mohammed VI’s direct oversight. The agency, affiliated with the Rabat-based Al-Quds Committee, has made significant contributions in education, health, and social services, focusing on youth, women, and children in Al-Quds (Jerusalem).
Recently, the agency equipped Gaza’s Al-Azhar University with cloud infrastructure and a Learning Management System, alongside a summer school program benefiting over 4,000 Palestinian children.
Since October 7, relentless Israeli attacks have claimed over 39,300 Palestinian lives and injured more than 90,000 people, with many still missing in the aftermath.
King Mohammed VI’s leadership in advocating for Palestinian rights remains a beacon of hope amid ongoing turmoil.
