Morocco Foodex to open Paris showroom to promote Moroccan agricultural exports
Morocco Foodex, the national agency dedicated to promoting and regulating agricultural, agri-food, and fisheries exports, is set to launch a “Concept Store” showroom in Paris to highlight the country’s finest agri-food and seafood products. The showroom will serve as a permanent “Made in Morocco” exhibition space, offering French and European importers, distributors, and consumers an immersive experience of Morocco’s agricultural excellence.
Covering at least 250 square metres, the eco-friendly space will combine exhibitions, tastings, and cultural activities, allowing visitors to explore the full sensory spectrum of Moroccan products. The showroom will feature fresh produce, processed foods, local specialties, and seafood, showcasing the quality, diversity, and authenticity of Morocco’s export offerings.
This project aligns with Morocco’s “Génération Green 2020–2030” strategy, aiming to expand the international reach of the nation’s agri-food and fisheries sectors. Sustainable materials and Moroccan-inspired design will blend tradition with modernity, emphasizing eco-responsibility.
Strategic expansion and communication
Morocco Foodex will accompany the Paris launch with a broad communication campaign targeting media, industry professionals, and the wider public in France and beyond. The inauguration on December 5, 2025, will include a press conference, product presentations, networking sessions with around 200 key decision-makers, and Moroccan cultural performances.
The Concept Store will act as a year-round “living showcase” for Morocco’s agricultural and fisheries exports, complementing participation in international trade fairs such as SIAL Paris, Fruit Logistica Berlin, and Seafood Expo Global in Barcelona.
Morocco’s agri-food export sector has shown strong growth, with exports reaching MAD 87 billion in 2024 compared to MAD 39 billion in 2014, representing nearly 19% of national exports. Morocco Foodex aims to leverage this growth through product diversification and quality enhancement.
Expanding beyond Europe
Alongside the Paris initiative, Morocco Foodex plans a promotional push in the United States to boost Moroccan olive oil visibility. This includes a B2B mission in New York in March 2026 and a digital campaign targeting the U.S. East Coast, creating new market opportunities for Moroccan exporters.
The Paris showroom forms the European hub of Morocco Foodex’s broader international strategy, combining physical showcases and digital outreach to strengthen Morocco’s position as a trusted provider of high-quality, sustainable agricultural products.
