Moroccan talent honoredi in Oslo during Innovation-Focused event

The Mohammed VI Polytechnic University (UM6P), in collaboration with the Embassy of Morocco in Norway, organized a special gathering on Monday in Oslo to celebrate the Moroccan talents living in the Scandinavian country.

The event served as a platform to highlight UM6P's vision as a leading institution in research and innovation in Morocco and Africa, while also exploring opportunities for collaboration with the Moroccan diaspora in Norway.

Morocco's ambassador to Norway, Nabila Freidji, took the opportunity to introduce "Mor•way," the first digital platform designed specifically for Moroccan talents residing in Norway. This initiative aims to build structured professional networks capable of supporting impactful projects between the diaspora and Morocco.

By grouping talents around shared sectors and innovation fields, the Mor•way platform offers more than simple networking—it provides a structured framework for collaboration. It promotes the development of high-impact projects in fields such as scientific research, engineering, entrepreneurship, and new technologies.

Discussions during the event focused on concrete opportunities in Morocco, particularly in strategic sectors aligned with the vision of His Majesty King Mohammed VI, such as energy transition, information technology, healthcare, and industry.

The event also explored practical mechanisms to support professional integration, skills transfer, and joint innovation initiatives between Moroccan professionals in Norway and their counterparts in Morocco.

Several prominent Norwegian figures attended the event, underscoring the strategic and bilateral dimension of this initiative. It paves the way for enhanced scientific and economic dialogue between Morocco and Norway, contributing to more effective bilateral cooperation.
