Saham Bank Launches a New Mobile App Featuring Artificial Intelligence

Saham Bank is accelerating its digital transformation with a new version of its mobile app, now accessible to all its customers. This redesign aims to simplify daily banking operations, enhance user autonomy, and facilitate communication with their advisors. The main innovation lies in the integration of LiA, an intelligent assistant designed to guide customers towards the services they need.

A Redesigned Mobile Experience for Everyday Operations

Announced on October 12, 2026, in Casablanca, the new app marks a further step in Saham Bank's digital evolution. After being adopted by its initial users, it is now offered to the entire clientele, which includes individuals, professionals, and businesses.

The new mobile environment is based on a redesign of the design, navigation, and functionalities. Customers can now activate virtual cards, depending on their plan, to pay for their purchases online or in-store. They can also check their card code, modify the limit, and contact their advisor or make an appointment in just a few clicks.

The stated goal is to make routine services more accessible while preserving the human relationship with the banking teams.

« We want to combine autonomy and proximity: allowing our clients to carry out their routine operations more easily, without ever distancing them from their advisor », says Yassine Sekkat, Director of Strategy and Transformation at Saham Bank, who led the project.

Features Tailored for Professionals and Businesses

The update concerns all categories of the bank's clients. Professionals can now switch from their personal space to their professional space with a single click, centralizing the management of their various banking needs.

For businesses, the myBusiness web and mobile environments provide an enriched view of activity. Visibility on upcoming credits and debits will facilitate cash flow forecasting.

These developments aim to adapt digital tools to the constraints and uses specific to each client category.

LiA Introduces Artificial Intelligence into Banking Services

The integration of LiA is one of the main innovations of this version. Based on artificial intelligence, this assistant is accessible to all clients from the new app. It allows users to make requests in natural language to be directed to the corresponding service.

A user can, for example, ask where to find their bank identity statement (RIB) or how to increase their card limit. LiA then guides them to the desired functionality, simplifying navigation within the app.

Saham Bank states that the assistant meets high standards in terms of security and confidentiality. This first integration of artificial intelligence also paves the way for new uses, with the ambition to better anticipate customer needs and offer more useful and personalized services.

A Continuing Digital Transformation

This redesign is part of a broader strategy undertaken by Saham Bank. It extends several developments already implemented, including fully online account opening, the launch of new packages incorporating everyday banking services—such as free instant transfers—and the ongoing development of the agency network and service models.

Under the guidance of Saham Group, the bank aims to leverage technology to simplify usage and enhance customer autonomy, while keeping banking advice at the heart of the client relationship.

The new app is available on the Play Store for Android devices and on the App Store for iOS devices.
