Moroccan Embassy in Moscow Denounces Fake Communique on Saratov Student Community
In a decisive move to maintain transparency and uphold diplomatic integrity, the Embassy of the Kingdom of Morocco in Moscow has vehemently denied the authenticity of a communique attributed to them regarding the Moroccan student community in the city of Saratov.
Through an official statement released on Wednesday, the diplomatic representation sought to alert the Moroccan community residing in the Russian Federation about the circulation of a false communique on social media platforms, falsely attributed to the Embassy.
"This pseudo communique concerning the Moroccan student community in the city of Saratov is a fake document (Fake)," the Embassy's statement emphasized, leaving no room for ambiguity.
The fabricated document in question, purportedly dated May 17, alleged the issuance of numerous arrest warrants and search orders against students by the authorities in Saratov, stemming from cases of fraud and scams.
Furthermore, the counterfeit communique audaciously claimed that "the Embassy of the Kingdom of Morocco in Russia called upon the Moroccan student community to exercise restraint and announced that the Russian authorities had the right to arrest students and expel them from the country without referring to the diplomatic representation of the Kingdom."
By swiftly addressing and denouncing the falsified document, the Moroccan Embassy in Moscow has reaffirmed its commitment to maintaining transparent and accurate communication channels with its citizens residing abroad. The Embassy's proactive stance serves as a bulwark against the spread of misinformation and upholds the principles of responsible diplomacy.
Through this decisive action, the Embassy has sent a clear message that it remains vigilant in safeguarding the interests and well-being of Moroccan nationals, while upholding the highest standards of truthfulness and integrity in its official communications.
