Mohamed Boudrika's Detention in Germany: Family Refutes Asylum Claims

Former Raja Casablanca President Mohamed Boudrika did not pursue political asylum in Germany, as confirmed by his family. Sources close to Boudrika maintain he remains confident in Morocco's judicial system.

Boudrika has been detained since July 16 near Hamburg airport, with allegations of forgery and the use of false documents in connection with his real estate ventures. Family members assert he was unaware of an Interpol arrest warrant and would not have traveled to Germany if informed.

Following Boudrika's arrest, Raja Casablanca announced that Vice-President Adel Hala will temporarily lead the club. According to his son, Abdelali, Boudrika is leading a "normal life" and maintains regular contact with family and friends.

German authorities have alerted their Moroccan counterparts, initiating the extradition process.
