Medays 2025: Forum opens today in Tangier amid global polarization
Tangier, Morocco — The city of Tangier officially welcomes the 17th edition of the MEDays Forum today, running from November 26 to 29, 2025. Recognized as one of Africa’s leading geopolitical gatherings, this year’s edition unfolds under the theme “Fractures and Polarization: Reinventing the Global Equation”, reflecting a world increasingly shaped by tensions, uncertainties, and strategic realignments.
Over four days, Tangier transforms into a hub of diplomacy, hosting more than 300 international speakers, including political leaders, economic decision-makers, and globally recognized experts. With over 7,000 participants expected from more than 120 countries, MEDays reaffirms its role as a premier platform for dialogue, analysis, and forward-looking perspectives.
Discussions at the forum will cover critical global issues such as geopolitical rivalries, North-South disparities, energy transition, economic sovereignty, digital fragmentation, and the rising influence of emerging economies.
