Iscae Rabat certifies 49 finance inspectors in international audit standards program

Morocco has taken another step toward strengthening public financial governance as the Institut Supérieur de Commerce et d’Administration des Entreprises (ISCAE) in Rabat certified 49 Finance Inspectors after the successful completion of a specialized training program focused on international auditing standards.

The certification ceremony, held at the headquarters of the Ministry of Economy and Finance, recognized participants who completed an advanced professional development course designed to enhance technical expertise in internationally recognized audit methodologies. Senior officials from the Ministry’s Directorate of Administrative and General Affairs, ISCAE Rabat executives, and members of the academic team responsible for delivering the program attended the event.

The initiative reflects Morocco’s broader efforts to reinforce the capabilities of public-sector auditors by aligning their practices with internationally accepted standards. By expanding technical knowledge and promoting consistent auditing methods, the program aims to improve the reliability and effectiveness of financial oversight across government institutions.

According to the Ministry of Economy and Finance, the training forms part of the ongoing commitment of the General Inspectorate of Finance to invest in continuous professional development. Strengthening inspectors’ competencies is viewed as a key element in maintaining high-quality audit missions while supporting transparency, accountability, and sound public financial management.
