According to recent reports from the Gaza health ministry, the number of casualties has climbed to 42,603, including 84 deaths in the past 24 hours alone. The devastating toll extends beyond fatalities, with nearly 100,000 individuals suffering injuries.

Experts suggest these figures may be conservative estimates. Al Jazeera reports that an additional 10,000 bodies could be buried beneath the rubble of destroyed buildings across the Gaza Strip, painting an even more dire picture of the humanitarian crisis.

The conflict has taken a severe toll on Gaza's healthcare infrastructure. Kamal Adwan Hospital in northern Gaza recently faced heavy bombardment, causing significant damage to its water tanks and electrical grid.
