Ensemble Maroc Expands Total Stations Presence with the Support of Venezia Ice
Two years after falling under the stewardship of investment fund manager Adenia, facilitated through Overseas Catering Services (OCS), the holding company overseeing contract catering operations in Morocco, Ivory Coast, and Senegal, Ansamble Morocco is actively advancing its foray into the complementary realm of commercial catering.
The group, dedicated to overseeing employee dining services for several prominent Moroccan corporations, is set to fortify its collaboration with TotalEnergies and Venezia Ice Group. Through its subsidiary, Retail Morocco, tasked with managing a portfolio of international restaurant brands, Ansamble Morocco aims to substantially augment the number of Venezia Ice restaurants within Total service stations, targeting approximately ten establishments by the end of 2024—up from the current two.
It is noteworthy that Total, the Moroccan subsidiary of the French oil company TotalEnergies, with an ambitious expansion plan in Morocco, has chosen to leverage the Moroccan brand Venezia to enhance its dining offerings at its stations. Between 2015 and 2022, the French brand La Croissanterie served as the flagship in this domain. However, a strategic shift has led to the widespread introduction of the Moroccan brand Venezia Ice into Total Morocco's network, facilitated by Ansamble Morocco in its managerial role.
For this leading figure in contract catering and concession catering in Morocco, this new avenue of growth is poised to significantly elevate revenues, surpassing the current 900 million dirhams and reaching the coveted one billion dirham milestone.
