Donald Trump arrives in Switzerland for the Davos Forum
U.S. President Donald Trump arrived in Switzerland on Wednesday to attend the World Economic Forum in Davos, according to journalists present on site.
Air Force One landed at Zurich Airport around midday, later than initially scheduled. From there, the American president was expected to travel by helicopter to the Alpine resort of Davos, where he is due to deliver a keynote speech and hold meetings with several world leaders.
Trump’s participation in the forum comes at a time of heightened international tensions, particularly surrounding geopolitical issues involving Europe and the Arctic region. His presence is expected to draw significant attention, as global leaders and economic decision-makers gather to discuss major political, economic, and security challenges.
The annual Davos meeting serves as a platform for dialogue between heads of state, business leaders, and international organizations on pressing global issues.
