Digital Virgo showcases its digital strategy at Gitex Africa 2025

Digital Virgo reaffirms its commitment to digital innovation in Morocco and Africa during Gitex Africa 2025, taking place from April 14 to 16 in Marrakech. With an expanded booth and a strong presence of top management, the company aims to strengthen its role as a facilitator of digital transformation across the continent.

As a recognized player in Morocco's telecom ecosystem, Digital Virgo collaborates closely with operators, regulators, and key local organizations such as APEBI and CGEM. The company is focused on enhancing its Moroccan hub, which serves as a strategic lever for its growth in Africa.

Since its establishment in 2008, Morocco has been central to Digital Virgo's African strategy, hosting the group's main technical and operational hub. The site employs over 70 specialists in areas such as technical development, data analysis, machine learning, mobile app development, and digital marketing.

Digital Virgo's participation in Gitex Africa reflects the accelerating pace of digital transformation in Morocco, which is currently undertaking major initiatives like the rollout of 5G and the implementation of the Morocco Digital 2030 strategy. These efforts aim to develop innovative platforms and Super Apps, which serve as convergence points for mobile usage.

The company supports Moroccan and broader African operators on strategic projects related to digital monetization and distribution. The objective is to enhance mobile content offerings through educational, cultural, and entertainment services.

This year’s Gitex Africa edition spotlights "digital infrastructure and artificial intelligence," an area where Digital Virgo’s expertise will be prominently featured. In anticipation of major sporting events such as CAN 2025 and the 2030 World Cup, the company is implementing mobile solutions to enhance user engagement, including competition tracking services and interactive features.

Additionally, Digital Virgo will sign a strategic partnership agreement with Malaysian group Raizon Consulting during Gitex Africa, under the supervision of the Malaysia Digital Economy Corporation (MDEC), a government agency focused on digital economy initiatives.
