In a groundbreaking move that solidifies its position at the forefront of digital banking, Morocco's CIH Bank has forged an innovative partnership with Google. This strategic alliance paves the way for the highly anticipated launch of Google Pay, a cutting-edge contactless payment solution, in the Moroccan market.

The introduction of Google Pay promises to transform the way Moroccan consumers conduct transactions, offering unparalleled convenience and security. MasterCard cardholders will now be able to seamlessly integrate their payment credentials into the Google Wallet ecosystem, enabling them to make purchases effortlessly with a simple tap of their Android smartphones or Wear OS devices.

Prioritizing consumer safety, CIH Bank and Google have implemented robust tokenization protocols, transforming card numbers into unique, encrypted tokens for each transaction. This advanced security measure significantly diminishes the risk of fraud, providing customers with peace of mind as they navigate the digital realm.

In the event of loss or theft, users can promptly disable their devices through the "Find My Device" feature, further safeguarding their financial information from potential misuse.

Heralding the partnership, Jenny Cheng, Vice President and General Manager of Google Wallet, expressed her enthusiasm for the global expansion of Google Pay, which now spans over 70 nations, including Morocco.
