On August 22, 2024, Abdelkrim Boskri became the latest addition to this prestigious group, with asteroid 176532 bearing his name in recognition of his outstanding work at the Oukaïmeden Observatory.

This celestial honor roll showcases the breadth and depth of Moroccan talent in the field of astronomy. Dr. Zouhair Benkhaldoun, honored with asteroid 133892 "Benkhaldoun," stands out as a pioneer.
