Brazilian business delegation to visit Morocco to strengthen economic cooperation
A Brazilian trade mission composed of six companies from different economic sectors is scheduled to visit Morocco from June 10 to 13 in an effort to explore new business opportunities and strengthen bilateral partnerships between the two countries.
The initiative is being organized by the Arab-Brazilian Chamber of Commerce in cooperation with the Embassy of Morocco in Brasilia. The visit aims to deepen knowledge of the Moroccan market while promoting investment and commercial exchanges between Moroccan and Brazilian businesses.
The mission reflects the growing economic ties between Morocco and Brazil, with both countries seeking to diversify trade relations and increase cooperation across strategic sectors.
Discussions during the visit are expected to focus on agro-industry, cosmetics, electrical equipment and the footwear industry. Participating companies will take part in business meetings, institutional exchanges and networking sessions with Moroccan public and private sector representatives.
The program will begin in Rabat with institutional meetings and sector-specific discussions. Delegates will then travel to Casablanca, where seminars, technical visits and business-to-business meetings will be organized to facilitate partnerships and investment opportunities.
The mission will also include a stop in Tangier, where participants are expected to visit Tanger Med, one of Africa’s most important logistics and maritime hubs connecting Europe, Africa and the Americas.
Trade relations between Morocco and Brazil have expanded steadily in recent years. In 2025, bilateral trade volume reportedly reached nearly 2.8 billion dollars. Brazilian exports to Morocco mainly included sugar, corn and livestock products, while Moroccan exports focused largely on phosphate-based fertilizers and industrial compounds.
Economic analysts view the upcoming mission as another step toward reinforcing South-South cooperation and creating long-term commercial partnerships between Latin America and North Africa.
