Bayern Munich Advances to Champions League Semifinals
Bayern Munich qualified for the Champions League semifinals by defeating Arsenal 1-0 (aggregate 2-2) on Wednesday at the Allianz Arena. The Germans will face Real Madrid, who defeated Manchester City.
Joshua Kimmich, assisted by Raphaël Guerreiro, scored the winning goal for Bayern with a diving header (63rd minute).
Bayern only has the Champions League to salvage their season after being eliminated from the German Cup this fall and Bayer Leverkusen winning the Bundesliga title this weekend.
