Amundi names Claire Cornil as new chief operating officer
Amundi, Europe’s largest asset manager, announced on Wednesday the appointment of Claire Cornil as its new chief operating officer, effective immediately.
Cornil will also become a member of Amundi’s general management committee, playing a central role in overseeing the firm’s operations and strategic initiatives across its European and global divisions.
Before joining Amundi, Cornil served as CEO of Societe Generale Gestion, a position she held since 2023. She initially joined the company as deputy CEO in 2022, gaining extensive experience in fund management and operational leadership.
Industry observers view this appointment as part of Amundi’s ongoing efforts to strengthen its management team and continue expanding its presence in the competitive European asset management market.
