Air Arabia Maroc Expands European Reach with New Tetouan-Rotterdam Route
Air Arabia Maroc is set to launch a new direct flight connecting Tetouan Saniat R'mel Airport in Morocco to Rotterdam The Hague Airport in the Netherlands, starting October 28. This latest addition to the airline's network underscores its commitment to enhancing connectivity between Moroccan destinations and major European cities.
The new route will operate weekly on Mondays, with flights departing Tetouan at 2:20 PM local time and arriving in Rotterdam at 5:30 PM. Return flights will leave Rotterdam at 6:20 PM, touching down in Tetouan at 9:25 PM.
This expansion is part of Air Arabia Maroc's broader strategy to strengthen its presence in Europe. The airline has already established direct connections from Tétouan to several key European destinations, including Brussels, Paris, Amsterdam, Barcelona, Bilbao, and Madrid.
Air Arabia Maroc encourages customers to explore these new travel opportunities through its website, call centers, or travel agencies. The airline also highlights its "Air Rewards" loyalty program, which allows passengers to earn, transfer, and redeem points for exclusive benefits.
The launch of this new route coincides with Morocco's efforts to boost tourism. Recently, Morocco's Tourism Office (ONMT) initiated the "Ntla9awfbladna" campaign, aimed at encouraging domestic tourism and promoting the country's diverse attractions. This push for increased tourism aligns with the country's impressive visitor numbers, with 11.8 million tourists recorded since the beginning of the year, including 1.8 million in August alone.
As Air Arabia Maroc continues to expand its network, it not only facilitates easier travel between Morocco and Europe but also contributes to the growth of Morocco's tourism sector, offering both international and domestic travelers more options to explore the country's rich cultural heritage and natural beauty.
