The Court of Cassation and Directorate General of National Security Forge Partnership to Uphold the Rule of Law
The Court of Cassation and the Directorate General of National Security (DGSN) have formalized their commitment to enhanced cooperation and partnership through the signing of a bilateral agreement. The signing ceremony, presided over by Court of Cassation First President Mohamed Abdennabaoui and DGSN Director General Abdellatif Hammouchi, took place at the headquarters of the Superior Council of the Judiciary (CSPJ) in Rabat.
The primary objective of this framework agreement is to establish a collaborative approach for sharing expertise and best practices in the management of administrative litigation. Beyond this, the agreement lays the foundation for joint initiatives in scientific cooperation, communication, competency enhancement, coordination in publishing case law, and the exchange of both paper and electronic publications.
Additionally, the accord outlines plans for the organization of working workshops, scientific colloquia, and training sessions that will encompass legal, judicial, and professional domains relevant to the handling and processing of administrative dispute cases.
By fostering closer ties between the highest court and the national police force, this partnership aims to uphold the rule of law by ensuring a transparent and efficient resolution of administrative legal matters. Observers assert that the accord signifies a mutual understanding between the judicial and security institutions, which is crucial for maintaining justice and rights in Morocco.
