The Moroccan government has launched a significant initiative calling for the strategic integration of artificial intelligence in educational systems across Arab countries. During the 14th Conference of Arab Ministers of Education in Doha, Morocco presented a compelling vision for enhancing educational quality through technology.

Speaking on behalf of Education Minister Mohammed Saad Berrada, Secretary General Younes Shimi outlined Morocco's comprehensive approach to modernizing education. The initiative focuses on making technological solutions both accessible and culturally appropriate for Arab societies, with particular emphasis on reducing student dropout rates and improving academic outcomes.

The proposal encompasses several key elements, including structured teacher training programs to build AI competency and the implementation of innovative teaching methodologies. Morocco's current educational framework, guided by the "2022-2026 roadmap for a quality public school for all," serves as a practical model for this technological transition.

A notable component of Morocco's educational transformation is the "Pioneer Schools" project, which experiments with novel teaching approaches to enhance educational quality. The government's 2021-2026 program specifically emphasizes the crucial role of educators in this technological evolution.

The conference culminated in the "Doha Declaration," a collective commitment by Arab nations to advance educational technology. The declaration specifically addresses the need to invest in digital infrastructure and ensure equitable access to technology across all regions, aiming to bridge existing digital disparities.

This initiative represents a significant step toward modernizing educational systems across Arab nations, with Morocco positioning itself at the forefront of educational innovation in the region. The focus on technological integration, combined with practical implementation strategies, signals a transformative shift in Arab educational methodology.
