In a display of unwavering determination, Morocco has pledged to deliver a transportation system worthy of the global stage as the nation gears up to co-host the 2030 FIFA World Cup alongside Spain and Portugal. Speaking in Rabat on Friday, the Minister of Transport and Logistics, Mohamed Abdeljalil, assured the public that Morocco is resolute in its commitment to realizing all necessary projects to ensure seamless mobility and transportation services during this monumental event.

Aligning with the vision of His Majesty King Mohammed VI, Abdeljalil stated, "Morocco is undoubtedly committed to undertaking all essential investments to ensure that our transportation services meet the highest expectations." These remarks came shortly before a pivotal meeting between the Ministry of Transport and Logistics and the Moroccan Royal Football Federation (FRMF), represented by its president, Fouzi Lekjaa.

The gathering, attended by the CEO of Royal Air Maroc, Abdelhamid Addou, the Director General of the National Office of Railways, Mohamed Rabie Khlie, and the Director General of the National Airports Office, Habiba Laklalech, aimed to finalize the crucial transportation and mobility aspects of Morocco's bid for the 2030 World Cup.

Minister Abdeljalil emphasized that this meeting was an opportunity to put the "final touches" on the bid dossier, ensuring that the transportation and mobility components are meticulously addressed.

Preceding this meeting, an extensive session was held on May 2nd at the Ministry of Interior's headquarters, reflecting the intense preparations underway for the 2030 World Cup. This effort aligns with the Royal Vision and Decree, which harbor an unwavering ambition to ensure the resounding success of this international event.

The May 2nd meeting brought together key stakeholders, including the Minister of Interior, the Minister of Equipment and Water, the Minister of National Education, Preschool and Sports, the Minister of National Territorial Planning, Urban Planning, Housing and City Policy, the Minister of Tourism, Handicrafts and Social and Solidarity Economy, the Minister of Transport and Logistics, and the Minister Delegate in charge of the Budget.

Discussions centered on coordinating efforts among the various ministerial departments, establishing a unified system for collaborative action, and implementing an integrated roadmap based on fulfilling commitments, converging initiatives and interventions, and harmonizing their scheduling. This comprehensive approach aims to ensure the necessary conditions and resources are in place to guarantee Morocco's success in co-hosting this global sporting event.

With determination etched into every stride, Morocco is leaving no stone unturned in its quest to deliver a world-class transportation network that will facilitate seamless mobility and contribute to an unforgettable experience for spectators and participants alike during the 2030 FIFA World Cup.
