Soumiya Iraoui: A Seasoned Contender
Soumiya Iraoui, a distinguished competitor in the 52kg weight category, is set to make her second Olympic appearance after her participation in the Tokyo 2020 Games. Iraoui’s impressive career includes a silver medal at the 2019 African Games and six medals at the African Judo Championships, three of which are gold.
Iraoui’s journey to qualifying for Paris 2024 has been characterized by consistent performances on the international judo circuit. Her efforts have earned her sufficient points to rank among the top 17 judokas in her weight category, ensuring her place in the prestigious event.
