The award, symbolizing Morocco's rising prominence on the global tourism spectrum, was graciously accepted by His Excellency Mohamed Maliki, the esteemed Moroccan Ambassador to India. The ceremonial presentation was overseen by Vetsop Namgyel, the Ambassador of Bhutan and Vice-Dean of the Diplomatic Corps in India, lending an aura of diplomatic splendor to the event.

The tourism office has unveiled an ambitious "Light in Action" plan, a comprehensive strategy leveraging targeted marketing campaigns, educational tours, and promotional initiatives to attract an impressive 500,000 Chinese visitors annually, solidifying Morocco's position as a must-visit destination for discerning global travelers.
