SOGETREL Launches Genius Services, its New Moroccan Subsidiary to Propel its International Expansion
In an inaugural ceremony presided over by Ms. Ghita Mezzour, Minister of Digital Transition and Administrative Reform, SOGETREL, the independent French company specializing in digital infrastructure services, has unveiled its new Moroccan subsidiary, Genius Services. Speaking alongside H.E. Mr. Christophe Lecourtier, Ambassador of France to the Kingdom of Morocco, and Mr. Xavier Vignon, President of the SOGETREL Group, Minister Mezzour hailed this opening as a testament to Morocco's appeal as a "preferred destination due to its undeniable strengths such as its competitiveness, infrastructure, and pool of high-quality talent."
Based in Casablanca, Genius Services marks a new milestone in the international expansion of the SOGETREL Group, following its establishments in Belgium and Germany. With nearly 40 years of experience in digital infrastructure services and connected equipment, ranging from communication network construction to the integration of intelligent solutions in electronic security or electric mobility, as well as deployment and support services in IT, the French company positions itself at the forefront of the digital transformation of businesses and territories.
A High-Level Activity Management Service Model
Initially, Genius Services will offer the activity management services that have built SOGETREL's reputation in France. Leveraging the high-level technical expertise of Moroccan technicians, this strategic establishment in Casablanca will enable the SOGETREL Group to strengthen its commitment to service quality and benefit from Morocco's dynamic economic environment.
An Expanding Pool of Talent
With a team of 250 multilingual and experienced support technicians already operational and supporting Genius Services' initial clients - French companies in the Telecoms and Retail sectors - the new subsidiary plans to create 500 jobs by the end of 2024, with a prospect of 1000 employees by 2026. These teams will provide multichannel user support, back-office services, as well as intervention tracking and planning.
Under the leadership of Bessam KHELIF, President of Genius Services, and Assya EL BOUKFAOUI, Director, this new entity will rely on Morocco's human resources, a true driving force behind this new venture.
