Hassan Boulaknadal, New Chairman of the Board of Directors of Lesieur Cristal
Hassan Boulaknadal has been appointed chairman of the board of directors of Lesieur Cristal, according to a statement from the company. This appointment follows the resignation of Khalid Cheddadi, who stepped down from his positions as director and chairman of the board.
Boulaknadal is an expert in asset management, who began his professional career in 1994 in the field of asset management at BMCE. In 2000, he was appointed CEO of the asset management company BMCE Capital Gestion, while also holding positions at BMCE CAPITAL, where he served as secretary-general and administrator of several subsidiaries of the group.
In 2009, he began a new career in the public sector, after being appointed by His Majesty King Mohammed VI to the CDVM (now AMMC) as CEO, a position he held until 2016. During his tenure, Boulaknadal was involved in international regulatory bodies, where he was elected president of the union of Arab regulators from 2011 to 2013. In 2016, he was appointed director of the Foreign Exchange Office and concurrently chaired the asset allocation committee of the CMR.
