Popular TikTok Creator Mr. Prada Arrested Amidst Controversy

Terryon Thomas, widely recognized as Mr. Prada, a popular TikTok creator with nearly 4 million followers, has been apprehended in Dallas on charges including aggravated criminal damage to property, resisting arrest, and unauthorized use of a motor vehicle. The Baton Rouge Police Department in Louisiana issued an arrest warrant for Thomas after he allegedly failed to comply during a traffic stop. According to the affidavit, Thomas was driving a vehicle reported stolen, and he reportedly backed into the officers' car before fleeing the scene.

The warrant was issued on Tuesday, coinciding with a Facebook post by the Tangipahoa Parish Sheriff’s Office, which detailed a similar traffic stop incident and included images of a person of interest connected to a stolen vehicle case. Although Thomas was not named in the post, it sought public assistance in identifying the individual who had last driven the stolen vehicle.

The stolen car is believed to belong to William Nicholas Abraham, a 69-year-old therapist whose body was discovered wrapped in a tarp along a highway on Sunday. The investigation into Abraham's death is being treated as a homicide, and law enforcement officials have yet to identify any suspects. A representative from the East Baton Rouge Parish Sheriff’s Office stated that there is currently no additional information available for public release.

Following the issuance of the arrest warrant, speculation arose on social media regarding Thomas's potential involvement in Abraham's death, with numerous posts on platforms like TikTok and X erroneously claiming that he was wanted for murder.

Thomas gained fame on TikTok for his comedic content, though he has faced criticism for allegedly replicating videos from other creators. Despite this backlash, he has previously expressed no remorse for his actions regarding content creation.

As of now, both Baton Rouge police and representatives for Thomas have not responded to inquiries regarding the situation
