This growth contrasts sharply with the 2.6% decline recorded a year prior, marking a significant shift in the country's energy landscape.

The driving force behind this impressive performance can be attributed to the robust contributions from the private sector, which saw an 8% increase in production, coupled with an impressive 42.8% surge in renewable energy output under the auspices of Law 13-09.
