Morocco has initiated recruitment for a strategic military drone factory in Benslimane"], operated by Atlas Défense, a local subsidiary of Turkish defense manufacturer Baykar. The facility will focus on the maintenance and production of combat drones for the Royal Armed Forces of Morocco.
This initiative represents a key step in enhancing Morocco’s defense autonomy. Beyond providing technical support for the existing drone fleet, the Benslimane complex aims to become a full-fledged production hub capable of developing advanced drones tailored to national operational needs, while reducing reliance on foreign suppliers.
