Canadians are casting their votes in an election that could redefine the nation's relationship with its southern neighbor, the United States. Prime Minister Mark Carney, the frontrunner, has already clashed with US President Donald Trump over trade tariffs. Meanwhile, Conservative candidate Pierre Poilievre has sparked comparisons to Trump himself. As the country stands at a political crossroads, the choice Canadians make could reshape future ties between Ottawa and Washington.
