Rabat– Moroccan Minister of Foreign Affairs, Nasser Bourita, met today in Rabat with the President of the Senate of the French Republic, Gérard Larcher, to discuss the strengthening of bilateral relations between Morocco and France. Their discussions highlighted the crucial role of parliamentary diplomacy in fostering closer cooperation and solidifying the new exceptional partnership between the two nations.

During the meeting, both officials underscored the historical and strategic depth of Morocco-France relations. Larcher emphasized that parliamentary diplomacy serves as a dynamic mechanism to reinforce political, economic, and cultural ties between the two countries. This engagement comes at a pivotal time when global challenges necessitate enhanced dialogue and collaboration between allies.

Bourita and Larcher also explored avenues to deepen cooperation between their respective legislative institutions, focusing on shared interests such as security, economic development, and regional stability. The renewed emphasis on parliamentary diplomacy reflects the commitment of both nations to strengthening their alliance and addressing global and regional challenges with a unified approach.

As Morocco and France continue to build on their historic ties, this high-level dialogue underscores the significance of diplomatic and parliamentary engagement in shaping a more robust and forward-looking bilateral relationship.
