A magical oasis in Marrakech is set to be filled next weekend with EDM lovers flocking to sway to the beats of this much-anticipated artist lineup.

This September, the German-Bosnian DJ Solomun will grace Marrakech with an extended set as the headliner of the “Lost Nomads” electronic music festival.

Set to take place on September 6 in a secret location nestled within the vast Palmeraie oasis, the festival is returning to Marrakech for its fourth edition. Lost Nomads has consistently drawn some of the world's biggest DJ sensations, generating viral momentum across social media.

The previous location was the Agafay desert, which offered dreamy views and a unique experience to EDM and techno lovers coming from all over Morocco.

While Solomun is the star attraction this year, Lost Nomads will also feature performances by Cuartero, Johannes Brecht, Daox, and Adassiya.

Solomun’s extended set is highly anticipated, evoking memories of Korean DJ Peggy Gou’s mesmerizing sunset performance last year, where she seamlessly blended traditional rhythms with her carefully curated tracks like "Like Nanana."

Lost Nomads: What to Know

Hosting a festival in September presents a perfect opportunity for festival-goers to savor the final days of summer away from peak tourist months in a more intimate and less crowded setting. The event comes with a rather exclusive price tag, with tickets costing between MAD 1000 ($100) and MAD 3000 ($300).

Lost Nomads offers a variety of accommodation options, complimentary water, and an electrifying atmosphere where attendees can dance the night away.

To ensure convenience and safety, the festival provides shuttle services from a designated meeting point to the venue and back, offering a secure parking experience away from the hustle and bustle.

The detailed timetable of performances is yet to be announced, but excitement is already building. Though there’s no official dress code, festival organizers suggest donning your best dance attire to fully immerse yourself in the experience.

Previous editions of Lost Nomads have been hailed as resounding successes by electronic music enthusiasts, who praised the venue’s security and the festival's unique vibe. Moroccan talents such as Nawfal, Kawtar Sadik, and Mr. ID have graced the stage in past years, alongside international icons. In addition to Korean legend Peggy Gou, the festival has seen the likes of the French duo Birds of Mind, Spanish icon Pablo Fierro, Grammy-winner Black Coffee, and many more.

Organizers promise that more details will be revealed soon, keeping the anticipation alive ahead of the event.
