Unveiling the Dark Underworld of Drug Trafficking: Arrested Pharmacist Sheds Light

In a remarkable collaborative effort, the judicial police in Salé, working in conjunction with their counterparts in Tangier, apprehended a 45-year-old female pharmacist on Tuesday. She is suspected of being linked to a nefarious criminal network specializing in drug trafficking and the distribution of psychotropic substances. This breakthrough development follows a highly successful operation conducted last Saturday, where the Salé judicial police, in collaboration with the General Directorate of Territorial Surveillance, caught two individuals red-handed while engaging in the trafficking and illicit marketing of a staggering 1,740 psychotropic tablets. Subsequent investigations, still vigorously underway, have led to the identification and subsequent arrest of the pharmacist believed to be the primary supplier of these unlawful substances.

As the ongoing probe unfolds, meticulous searches carried out in connection with this case have yielded a trove of key evidence, including a registry book, suspicious invoices, and prescriptions that raise eyebrows. Notably, authorities have also seized a substantial sum of 300,000 dirhams, suspected to be the ill-gotten gains flowing from this illicit trade.

At present, the accused pharmacist finds herself at the center of a comprehensive judicial investigation, meticulously overseen by the competent prosecutor's office. The primary objective of this undertaking is to untangle the intricate web of this case and ascertain the full extent of her involvement in these heinous criminal activities.
