The Moroccan National Office of Tourism (ONMT) continues its action plan 'Light in Action' with the inauguration of the direct flight from New York to Marrakech.

The new non-stop service, commencing on October 25, 2024, will facilitate seamless travel between the two destinations, offering a convenient and efficient journey for passengers. This initiative is a testament to the growing demand for direct connections between the United States and Morocco, as well as United Airlines' commitment to expanding its global network.

To celebrate this milestone, United Airlines has organized a fam trip for 35 American travel advisors, providing them with a unique opportunity to experience the charm of Marrakech and its surrounding regions. This initiative aims to promote the destination and showcase its rich cultural heritage and tourism offerings.

The direct flight between Marrakech and New York is expected to boost tourism and economic ties between the two countries, offering a convenient and time-saving option for travelers. With a flight time of approximately 7-8 hours, passengers can now enjoy a seamless journey without the need for layovers or lengthy connections.

This development is particularly significant for the Moroccan tourism industry, as it opens up new opportunities for attracting American visitors and promoting the country's diverse attractions, from its vibrant cities to its breathtaking natural landscapes.

As United Airlines continues to expand its global reach, this direct route to Marrakech showcases the airline's dedication to providing convenient and efficient travel options for its passengers. With this new connection, travelers can now explore the rich history and culture of Morocco with ease, further strengthening the bonds between the two nations.
