Saudi Arabia's Stance: Palestinian State a Prerequisite for Israel Recognition

In a powerful address to the Shoura Council, Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman has unequivocally stated that the Kingdom will not recognize Israel without the establishment of a Palestinian state. This bold declaration has sent ripples through the region, highlighting Saudi Arabia's unwavering commitment to Palestinian sovereignty.

During his speech, the Crown Prince strongly condemned the "crimes of the Israeli occupation" against the Palestinian people, emphasizing the Kingdom's tireless efforts to bring about an independent Palestinian state with East Jerusalem as its capital. He affirmed, "The Kingdom will not establish diplomatic relations with Israel without that."

Prince Mohammed expressed gratitude to countries that have recognized the Palestinian state, urging others to follow suit. He emphasized the Kingdom's role in promoting regional and international security and peace, citing its efforts to find political solutions to crises in Yemen, Sudan, Libya, and Ukraine.

Shifting focus to domestic affairs, the Crown Prince highlighted the achievements of Saudi Vision 2030, noting that non-oil activities have reached new heights, contributing 50% of the real GDP last year. He emphasized the country's commitment to modernization and diversity while protecting its identity and values.

Furthermore, the National Center for the Nonprofit Sector's visit to the US Internal Revenue Service facilitated a valuable exchange of expertise and best practices in nonprofit regulation. The Ministry of Culture's announcement of 2025 as the "Year of Handicrafts" aims to celebrate and promote Saudi artisans' talents and cultural heritage on a global scale.

With these developments, Saudi Arabia continues to make significant strides in various sectors, solidifying its position as a key player in regional and international affairs.
