Ryanair expands connectivity between Spain and Morocco for summer 2026
Irish low-cost carrier Ryanair is set to strengthen air links between Spain and Morocco for the summer 2026 season, adding new routes and increasing flight frequencies to meet growing demand.
The airline announced the launch of a new connection between Valencia and Rabat, which will operate twice weekly throughout the summer schedule. The new service aims to enhance mobility between the two countries and support expanding tourism and business exchanges.
In addition to the Rabat route, Ryanair will boost frequencies between Valencia and Tangier, reflecting sustained passenger demand for travel between Spain and northern Morocco. The move forms part of the airline’s broader strategy to consolidate its presence in high-traffic Mediterranean markets.
According to the company, its summer 2026 program from Valencia will include 59 routes and a total of 336 weekly frequencies, representing a 2% increase compared to the previous season. The expanded schedule is designed to provide travelers with greater flexibility and competitive fares.
A spokesperson for Ryanair in Spain emphasized that the updated program will widen destination choices while reinforcing the airline’s commitment to network development and regional connectivity. The full schedule is already available for booking, with flights planned through October 2026.
The expansion underscores the strategic importance of air travel between Spain and Morocco, driven by strong diaspora ties, tourism flows and economic cooperation. By increasing seat capacity and route options, Ryanair aims to capture rising cross-border demand during the peak summer months.
