Russia reaffirms support for Cuba amid rising U.S. pressure

Russia has announced that it will continue to provide strong support to Cuba, as tensions escalate between Havana and Washington following new actions taken by the United States government.

Russian officials stated that Moscow rejects what it describes as increasing pressure from the United States, including tighter sanctions and legal measures targeting Cuban political figures.
