Oasis to Reunite for First Time in 15 Years with 2025 Global Tour

British rock legends Oasis have officially announced their reunion, marking the end of a 15-year hiatus. The band, iconic for defining the 1990s Britpop era, will embark on a highly anticipated tour in 2025, following their split in 2009 due to a bitter feud between brothers Liam and Noel Gallagher.

In a dramatic statement, Oasis proclaimed, 'The guns have fallen silent. The stars have aligned. The great wait is over. Come see. It will not be televised,' confirming the reunion and sharing details of the upcoming tour. The band will perform 14 shows across the United Kingdom, with additional concerts planned worldwide.

The reunion tour kicks off at Cardiff’s Principality Stadium on July 4, 2025, followed by six nights at Heaton Park in Manchester. Oasis will then headline London’s Wembley Stadium on August 2 and 3, with subsequent performances at Edinburgh’s Murrayfield Stadium on August 8 and 9, and Dublin’s Croke Park a week later. These shows are the band’s only European appearances scheduled for next year, promising to be one of the most significant live music events of the decade. Tickets go on sale this Saturday, with further international dates expected.

Oasis, known for hits like 'Wonderwall' and 'Don’t Look Back in Anger,' formed in 1991 and became a cornerstone of British rock before their turbulent breakup in 2009. The split occurred during the Rock en Seine festival in Paris when tensions peaked, and Liam destroyed one of Noel’s guitars. Noel stated he could no longer work with his brother, leading to the band’s dissolution. Since then, both brothers have continued to perform separately, each drawing large crowds with the band’s classic songs.

The reunion will also commemorate the 30th anniversary of their landmark album, 'What’s the Story) Morning Glory?', which includes some of their most celebrated tracks. In 2019, Liam expressed his desire to reconcile with Noel, emphasizing that the most crucial aspect was repairing their relationship as brothers.
