Nykaa targets over $5 billion in goods sold by fiscal year 2030

Indian beauty and fashion retailer Nykaa has set an ambitious long-term growth target, aiming to surpass $5 billion in gross merchandise value (GMV) by the fiscal year 2030 as it continues to expand its presence in the fast-growing personal care and lifestyle market.

The company, which has built a strong position in India’s digital retail sector, is betting on sustained growth in discretionary consumer spending, particularly in beauty, cosmetics, and fashion products. Nykaa expects its overall business to grow significantly over the coming years, supported by increasing demand from younger consumers and rising urban incomes.

According to projections shared during its investor presentation, the company anticipates that its revenue could grow two to three times by FY2030. It also expects profitability to improve, with margins expanding into the low-to-mid teens, reflecting stronger operational efficiency and scale benefits.

Nykaa has positioned itself as a leading platform for beauty and lifestyle products in India, combining e-commerce with physical retail stores to reach a wide consumer base. The company continues to invest in expanding its brand portfolio, logistics network, and digital capabilities to strengthen customer engagement.

Industry analysts note that India’s beauty and personal care market is undergoing rapid transformation, driven by digital adoption, social media influence, and growing awareness of global beauty trends. This shift has created significant opportunities for online-first retailers like Nykaa.

The company’s long-term strategy reflects confidence in the continued expansion of India’s consumer economy, which is expected to benefit from favorable demographics and rising purchasing power over the next decade.

As competition intensifies in the retail and e-commerce space, Nykaa’s focus on scaling its beauty and lifestyle ecosystem will be key to achieving its growth ambitions by 2030.
