Moschino names Loris Messina and Simone Rizzo as creative directors
Italian fashion house Moschino has announced the appointment of designers Loris Messina and Simone Rizzo as its new creative directors, marking a significant leadership change for the luxury brand.
The duo will take up their roles immediately, replacing Adrian Appiolaza, according to the brand’s parent company Aeffe. Their first collection for Moschino is expected to be unveiled during Milan Fashion Week in September, one of the most important events in the global fashion calendar.
Messina and Rizzo are known for their contemporary and experimental approach to design. They previously founded the fashion label Sunnei in 2014, which gained recognition for its innovative aesthetic and modern interpretation of Italian style. The designers stepped away from the brand last year before taking on this new role.
