OCP's partnership with Ghana's Ministry of Food and Agriculture aims to optimize the fertilizer value chain, supporting Ghana's agricultural mechanization goals. The construction of a $1.3 billion fertilizer plant in Takoradi is expected to produce one million tonnes annually, potentially saving Ghana $400 million in imports.

Since 2002, over 500 Ghanaian students have benefited from training in Moroccan institutions, in fields such as medicine and engineering.
