Morocco announces key dates for 2026 baccalaureate results
Thousands of Moroccan students are now awaiting the results of the 2026 Baccalaureate examinations following the conclusion of the regular exam session held across the Kingdom. The completion of the written tests marks the beginning of the correction phase, one of the most important stages of the national examination process.
According to the educational calendar established by the Ministry of National Education, the correction of examination papers is currently underway. More than 31,000 teachers and education professionals have been mobilized to evaluate candidates’ work and ensure the accuracy and fairness of the grading process.
This year, over half a million candidates participated in the national examinations, including both school-enrolled students and independent candidates. The Baccalaureate remains a crucial milestone in Morocco’s education system, providing access to higher education institutions and professional training opportunities.
To improve efficiency and transparency, the Ministry continues to rely on digital tools for monitoring and managing the correction process. Advanced platforms are used to coordinate marking procedures, harmonize evaluation standards and record grades, helping ensure consistency across examination centers nationwide.
Following the correction stage, examination boards will meet to review and validate the results before their official publication. The announcement of the results is expected on June 17, 2026, after deliberations scheduled for the previous day.
Students who do not achieve the required results during the regular session will have the opportunity to participate in the resit session. These examinations are scheduled for early July, offering candidates a second chance to obtain their diploma.
The Baccalaureate examination remains one of the most significant academic events in Morocco each year. Beyond measuring academic achievement, it reflects the efforts of students, teachers and families who contribute to the educational journey of young people throughout the country.
As anticipation grows among candidates and their families, educational authorities continue to emphasize the importance of transparency, fairness and equal opportunities throughout the examination and evaluation process.
