Moroccans secure nominations at the Africa Golden Awards 2026

Moroccan talent is gaining increasing recognition on the continental stage, as several personalities and brands from Morocco have secured nominations at the Africa Golden Awards 2026.

The annual ceremony, scheduled to take place in Nairobi, Kenya, celebrates excellence across a wide range of sectors, including entertainment, business, technology, and digital content creation.

This year, Morocco stands out with strong representation in multiple categories, highlighting the country’s dynamic creative and cultural industries. Among the أبرز nominees, Leila Hadioui and Amal Salhi are competing in the Top Female Lifestyle Influencer category.

In the business field, Hasnae Taleb has been nominated for Businesswoman of the Year. In music, Manal Benchlikha is nominated for Best Female Artist and also shares a nomination with Saad Lamjarred in the Most Consistent African Hitmaker category.

Male Moroccan talents are equally present, with Oussama Ramzi nominated for Stand-Up Comedian of the Year, Draganov for Best Lyricist, and Achraf Ben Ayad for Top Sports Content Creator.

Beyond individuals, Moroccan companies are also gaining recognition. Cypherleak is nominated for Most Secure African Cybersecurity Brand, while Poste Maroc is competing for African Courier Company of the Year.

Actress Farah El Fassi also shared her nomination for Best Actress in Africa, expressing pride in representing Morocco and encouraging her audience to vote.

Voting is expected to open soon on the event’s official platform. Winners in each category will receive financial prizes, adding further prestige to the competition.

These nominations underline the growing visibility of Moroccan talent in Africa’s major cultural and professional events. They also reflect the country’s expanding influence in creative industries, inspiring a new generation of artists, entrepreneurs, and innovators.
