Mawazine Festival Unveils Stellar Lineup for 19th Edition After Four-Year Hiatus
The renowned Mawazine Festival, celebrated as the "Rhythms of the World," is set to return with a bang for its eagerly awaited 19th edition. After a four-year hiatus due to the COVID-19 pandemic, festival organizers have announced an electrifying initial lineup of performers, creating a buzz among music enthusiasts.
Scheduled to take place from June 21 to June 29, 2024, in the vibrant city of Rabat, Morocco, the Mawazine Festival promises to be a melting pot of musical genres and cultural diversity. The organizers have curated a star-studded roster to appeal to a wide range of musical tastes, ensuring an unforgettable experience for attendees.
Headlining the festival is Lebanese songstress Carole Samaha, who will open the event on June 21 at 7:30 p.m. at the National Theater Mohammed V. Joining her is Lebanese icon Najwa Karam, affectionately known as the "Shining Sun of Arabic Music," who is set to perform on the Nahda Stage on June 27 at 10:00 p.m.
In an exciting development, the Mawazine Festival will welcome its first K-pop headliner, the sensational Korean boy group ATEEZ.
