Legislative Elections: Voter Turnout Reaches 4.23% by 10 AM in Morocco

The voter turnout for the general legislative elections held this Wednesday in Morocco for the election of members of the House of Representatives has been set at 4.23% nationally by 10 AM, according to a statement from the Ministry of the Interior.

Voting operations began at 8 AM, in accordance with the legal schedule set for the opening of the polls. According to the Ministry of the Interior, the voting process is continuing under normal conditions across all polling stations established throughout the prefectures, provinces, and district prefectures of the Kingdom.

Polling Open Across the Kingdom

The Ministry of the Interior indicates that voting operations have started under normal conditions at all polling stations set up across the national territory.

Representatives of the candidate lists presented in the various local and regional electoral constituencies are present during the voting operations, in accordance with the electoral framework.

4.23% Voter Turnout by 10 AM

By 10 AM, two hours after the opening of the polling stations, the recorded national voter turnout stood at 4.23%. This figure represents the first national indicator reported during this electoral day.

The voting continues across all constituencies of the Kingdom, as voters are called to participate in the election of members of the House of Representatives.
