Leaked Video Captures Trump's Scathing Critique of Biden and Harris Ahead of 2024 Race

In a surreptitiously recorded video that has now been leaked, Donald Trump, the former president, unleashed a torrent of uncensored vitriol against his potential 2024 rival, Joe Biden. The footage, obtained by The Daily Beast, offers an unvarnished glimpse into the ugly underbelly of the upcoming presidential race, filled with personal attacks and unsubstantiated claims.

Sitting in a golf cart, surrounded by his son Barron and holding a wad of cash, the 78-year-old Trump can be seen and heard delivering a scathing assessment of Biden's political fortunes. "A broken-down pile of crap" on the verge of "quitting the race" were the disparaging words used to describe the incumbent president, setting the tone for a diatribe that spared no punches.

Trump's brazen prediction that Biden would not seek re-election was accompanied by the assertion that Vice President Kamala Harris would inevitably step into the fray. "He just quit, you know, he's quitting the race," Trump declared, adding, "I got him out of the way, and that means we have Kamala."

While the White House and most Democrats maintain that Biden will remain the party's nominee, voter polls have painted a concerning picture for the president, suggesting that he has slipped six points behind Trump and that Harris could potentially be a stronger Democratic candidate in November's election.

Trump's assessment of Harris, however, was far from flattering. "I think she's gonna be better" as an opponent, he conceded, but swiftly followed with a torrent of insults, branding her as "so bad" and "so pathetic," even stooping to profanity to underscore his disdain.

The Biden campaign has vehemently denied any suggestion that the president is stepping down, with White House Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre emphatically stating, "Absolutely not." Several Democratic governors, after meeting with Biden, echoed the sentiment, repeating the phrase "in it to win it."

The Trump campaign, unsurprisingly, has remained silent on the veracity of the video, choosing instead to double down on their attacks by predicting the "total collapse" of the Democratic party in the wake of Biden's perceived poor debate performance and the mounting calls for him to step aside.

The Biden-Harris campaign, in response to the leaked video, issued a scathing statement, describing it as a "new rock bottom" for Trump and asserting that "The American people have already seen low after low from Donald Trump."

The release of the video coincided with the Trump campaign's launch of its first attack ads targeting Harris, underscoring the growing recognition that she may well emerge as the Democratic standard-bearer should Biden decide to withdraw from the race.

Leaked video and audio clips have been a recurring source of embarrassment for Trump, harking back to the notorious Access Hollywood tape from 2016, in which he was caught on a hot mic making vulgar and misogynistic remarks about women.

In the latest leaked footage, Trump's disdain for Biden's ability to navigate the treacherous waters of international diplomacy was on full display. "Can you imagine that guy dealing with Putin?" he asked rhetorically, before turning his attention to China's President Xi Jinping, whom he described as "a fierce person" and "a fierce man, very tough guy."

As the 2024 presidential race begins to take shape, this leaked video stands as a stark reminder of the vitriol and personal attacks that are likely to characterize the campaign trail. With both sides already trading barbs and leveling accusations, the American people can brace themselves for a contest that promises to plumb new depths of political rancor and divisiveness.
